It was the eggs!

Monday’s are our max effort days and I love and hate them. I have been progressing every week but the weight is getting heavy. When I go in I can’t help but feel a little scared I won’t get it. Last week I squatted 101kg (225lbs) 3 sets of 5 and had help on the last set, last 2 squats and I thought I would do the same weight again this week. But when I got there Coach Max started working with us and when it came time to do our work sets Coach says “Punky put 102kg on there!” I always do what he says because I trust him and sure enough I did it! This video is my second set. I wish I could share with all of you how it feels to lift a lot of weight! Its totally AWESOME!

Then after that I did a set of 5 deadlift at 124kg (273lbs)!!! I think it was the dozen of hard boiled eggs I ate today!! “Brauk!”

    I was so mad with your breathing!!! Watch me shake my head in disgust… You did lock it up in the 2nd and 3rd set!!! Great Job
