Last couple days in Maui

25 Mar

The Grand Wialea is this awesome hotel that is right below our condo. We went down there and hung out by the beach one day. This is the view from the beach of the hotel. The pool area is really neat they have water slides and fun pool stuff, but you have to have a wrist band to use the pool and of course we didn’t. Thats ok the kids probably peed in the pool!

Here is Denise and I eating lunch at the hotel, yummy!

This is the lobby of the hotel if you can believe that. Its all open air.

This is the water fall right when you drive up to the front door.

On Sunday we went whale watching. This was probably one of the most amazing things I have seen. There was a ton of whales and they were jumping out of the water and playing and waving at us. I couldn’t believe how close they were. Basically the males are chasing the females around trying to get some action. I couldn’t takes pictures fast enough to get one jumping out of the water but I did get a lot of other great shots.

So then Monday everyone went home and I didn’t leave until that night because I had a red eye at night. Plus it so happens that Monday it was sunny. SO I came home with a tan and the other girls were bummed cause they didn’t get any sun. đŸ˜¦

I had such a great time on this trip, and I can’t wait to go again.

What an amazing trip! Looks like you had a phenomenal vacation! I would love to go back to Maui sometime. When we were there, we mainly hung out on the north end by our hotel and there is so much more to do!
